Last year was a smooth sailing for equity markets in general, barring a couple of minor hiccups, but the going ahead will be tough & bumpy. The ideal situation could be, we go sideways for quite some time & then resume the upward trend else there would be sharp corrections with fundamentals & stock prices matching up with each other. Volatility & sharp moves on both sides will be key this year.
